Westfield Westfield Company operates one of the world’s largest shopping center portfolios. US retailers are supported online by the Westfield E-Commerce Marketing Team, based in LA. My role was to design and produce digital content for Westfield websites, microsites and social media channels. And to co-ordinate various seasonal or retail marketing campaigns across multiple retail outlets within the US.
XOXO XOXO is a contemporary women’s fashion brand. The XOXO product range includes clothing, footwear, sunglasses, watches and fragrances. Targeted towards young women, XOXO is sold across the US, in Macys and other licensee websites. The project was to re-design the XOXO website. In 2004, the site existed as a singe-page site, featuring a campaign video. To engage a predominantly younger audience, I re-designed this site to focus around the campaign and leverage the existing XOXO social media community. The website was designed to be responsive and create an aspirational XOXO experience. To date, we have seen increased site traffic and brand awareness.
Killion This project was a site re-design for a mens streetwear fashion brand, Killion. The project included market research and concepting to design and layout.
Z Gallerie I led the Z Gallerie creative team to successfully concept, redesign and optimize the ecommerce experience, which in turn streamlined our process. Upon replatforming and reformatting our marketing pages into a responsive grid, we improved page load and increased conversion. The redesign involved creative direction, marketing strategy, style guide creation, and new photography guidelines. We spent several months wireframing and prototyping each page including the transactional flow, with a focus on the information architecture and best UX practices. I was helped develop the oversee the strategy, design and project management of marketing campaigns including Z Pet, Z Babie, Citizens Pay and a Design Services program. Within a year of relaunching, we saw significant conversion and revenue growth, and acquired new customers. 2020 and 2021 saw a lift in sales of 23% and 21% respectively, surpassing forecasts. We saw site sessions increase by 29% and AOV lifted by 5%.
Parker NY This project involved an entire site re-design, from concepts and wire frames to a completely new e-commerce transactional flow. We defined the target audience and created a new brand campaign for Parker, email marketing, social media support and affiliate marketing. The re-launch included new photography direction, lookbooks, blog content, email marketing, a new brand style guide, garment labels and packaging.
CrossFit Aviator Based near LAX, CrossFit Aviator was in need of a marketing and business consultant. During my role as consultant, I helped redesign the floor set, address member retention issues and developed new processes for day-to-day gym management. My role also included photography, videography, social media content, website redesign and marketing initiatives.
Nicole Ari Parker X Z Gallerie When actress Nicole Ari Parker moved to New York City, she partnered with friend and interior designer Nikki Chu to bring her space to life. With help from Z Gallerie, Nikki brought Nicole’s vision to life, creating a space that is family-friendly, luxe and glamorous.
Rebecca Taylor E-commerce website re-design of New York fashion label, Rebecca Taylor for desktop and mobile. Creation of weekly email marketing, lookbooks, affiliate marketing, sweepstakes and promotional campaigns. Marketing support including weekly site updates, social media assets and retail support for teams in New York and Los Angeles. Since the re-design of the Rebecca Taylor website, mobile site and online marketing campaign – the e-commerce business saw a lift in annual net sales of 47% for 2013, and another lift of 22%, year on year for 2014.
Microsoft As an Art Director for Microsoft Windows, I took pride in leading a team of designers to support Microsoft HQ in Seattle. Our projects consisted of creating new webpages and content, daily site updates, design presentations and asset creation for a site that is viewed by over 5 million people. My team’s projects responded to quarterly product releases and updates to the Windows 10 operating system. The Windows website replatformed in 2018, which involved streamlining our internal processes and a new approach to Microsoft’s responsive design system.
