Chasing the Crown

Chasing the Crown is an independently-produced documentary that follows USA Weightlifting athlete Nile Franklin, as she navigates a year of personal and physical transformation. The film offers an unfiltered look at Nile’s evolving identity as a USA Weightlifting competitor, coach and mother who is reclaiming strength on her own terms. Drawing upon my experience in camera, art department and production, this project reflects my commitment to amplifying women in sport and the stories that deserve to be told.
